MTS just received an order from Ecole Poly in Montreal for 3.989M$.
The order is for structural actuators, hardline, pumps, load frame and a
seismic table controller upgrade and table move. ASD's portion of the
project is $263,040. (less than 7% of the total)

I just had a meeting with Kevin McQuillan and Steve Carlson. It was
agreed that we would create two separate projects but that MTD would be
responsible for invoicing the customer. For simplicity, two journal
transfers would be made to transfer monies from one project to the other
even though there are 6 milestone payments.

The customer ordered the equipment much sooner than needed so that he
could avoid losing the equipment money to the building part. In
reality MTS won't need to start manufacturing for at least a year. The
main hardware that ASD is supplying is the controller and servovalve.
These can be built in less than 5 months so we won't be incurring
significant costs until the end of the two to three year schedule.

In terms of hours, Rod and Brad can handle most of the controller
issues, and I'll cover all the mechanical and foundation.

Key points: We have an order for a table controller upgrade and table
move. We will get most of the money before we incur costs. And we
don't need to start work for a year or two.
